Introducing: Carolyne Roehm by CINER

Combining her two greatest loves, dogs and design, Carolyne Roehm launches her latest jewelry collection, “The Birds & the Bees,” with all proceeds going to dog and cat shelters across the United States. Made in collaboration with renowned 127-year-old New York City based, Ciner Fashion Jewelry Co., each item is made to order, and produced entirely by hand in their Manhattan atelier.

Dreamt up during her recovery from serious illness this year, the collection comprises 18 classic, supreme quality, statement pieces. The models used were hand sculpted, made in the European tradition, by highly skilled modelmakers over the past many decades. Carolyne reinterpreted Ciner’s mid century castings, into a distinct capsule collection.

  “Given that I have spent part of the year feeling like I was going to the dogs, it’s very fitting that my new charitable initiative be named just that!” This challenging time has redefined Carolyne’s purpose and highlighted the realization that there’s no time like the present to do what you love.

  Bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings, belts and a pin are part of the 18-piece collection, using the finest materials including 18k gold plating, genuine rhodium plating, and Swarovski crystals. Unlike any other fashion jewelry house in NYC, her collection has been created entirely in house by Ciner’s highly trained artisans.  

This collection also incorporates the very special plating technique we call regency. Featuring both 18K Gold and Genuine Rhodium plating, the regency look gives you, the customer, the ability to wear any of these gorgeous pieces with your gold or silver jewelry. You will notice, on all of the pieces in this collection, the Swarovksi crystal rhinestones are set in genuine rhodium plate, with the rest of the piece featuring gorgeous 18K Gold plate. The magnificent belts in this collection also feature this look, with the rings and quilted wings of the Crystal Bee Chain belt being plated in 18K Gold and body of the bee in Genuine Rhodium and adorned with Swarovski Crystal rhinestones.
